In much the same way that caller ID is used to screen telemarketing calls, software keeps junk e-mail out of your Inbox by comparing the senders of inbound e-mail messages with your list of  Approved Senders'. Instead of you making a manual decision, your white list verifies the senders approval or not. Approved emails go to your inbox and nothing else.

Automatically builds and maintains your personal list of Approved Senders according to who you decide should become a member of your 'exclusive white list'! Typically people within companies that you know, friends and others whom you are interested in receiving messages from. When first installed, our Spamfighter will automatically compile the list of 'Approved Senders' by scanning your contacts, sent and saved mail messages.

Incoming messages from Approved Senders are delivered directly to your Inbox. All other incoming messages from unknown senders are quarantined in spam pergatory for your later review. Very quickly your white list will encompass virtually all senders with whom you wish to interact. and the temporary quarantine will approach 99.99% junk email! Once a day, or at another convenient interval that you choose, You will be notified of any quarantined messages that you have never reviewed. Within the Control Panel, you can quickly scan for messages of interest, add the senders to your white list and simply ignore the rest.

If you choose, The software can automatically attempt to confirm that quarantined messages were sent by real people. If the sender replies to an automatically generated confirmation request, then their original message will be moved from the quarantine folder to the Inbox and the sender will be added to the list of Approved Senders.

installation
The software is easily downloaded online. This process was quick and efficient. Once downloaded, the system is then very quick to install. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes even for a computer newbie.

The next step is to create your approved senders list ' the white list'. You will be pleasantly surprised perhaps, to learn that this process is 95% automated for this stage in the process. Software will scan your favorites email list previous sent email and other files with emails that you regularly send and receive from. If you do a lot of emailing then I have heard of 3000-5000 email addresses being automatically generated for your white list, and does it within just a couple of minutes.


daily use
As part of its installation, a folder is created which it then proceeds to use as the temporary quarantine folder. That is a folder for any emails that arrive with an email address that is not on the approved senders list. All other emails, approved ones, are sent straight to your Outlook inbox, with no interference and no further setup.

At a convenient time you can check the quarantine folder for emails that have been blocked. When you find an email that you wish to receive, simply check the approval box. All checked emails are then relocated into your Inbox. All the other emails remain in your quarantine folder for deletion at a later date.

If you receive an email from someone that you no longer wish to then just check it for quarantine its really that simple, and now you no longer see any email from this particular sender.

Still running smoothly, there has been no conflict with any other software running on this system. Truly a great web find, a great piece of software helping improve my every day!

This is a very good product and until some brilliant programmer comes up with a software more adept at 'reading our minds', then this is the best way to help thwart the nuisance of daily unwanted emails. aka STOP SPAM.
